Empirical Evaluation of a Replanning Algorithm

چکیده
In this paper, we present and discuss the empirical evaluation of a replanning algorithm for a utility-based, hierarchical planner. The algorithm is embedded in a BDI agent architecture which includes a meta-deliberation component. The aim of the experimental setting is to investigate, given a utilitybased notion of plan failure, the role of replanning in different domains, and to evaluate the preferability of replanning versus planning from scratch when the plan fails during execution.
